Book Fair Schedule
This year we will be hosting Lunch with Loved One in combination with our February Book Fair! This is an opportunity to come eat with your child and shop the Book Fair during lunch hours. Please refer to the February lunch sign-up to reserve a time. We will have the picnic tables on the patio available (weather permitting) and be setting up additional tables and chairs based on the number of families we have signed up each day. As a friendly reminder, when you come for lunch it is to sit with your child and to shop the book fair with your child only. We will not be permitting friends to go with other students or families to the book fair. We hope you will be able to join us! You can signup for lunches here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E4BAFAA22A3FF2-47551748-february#/

As we prepare for our Book Fair next week, consider purchasing a gift card for your child. That way, you don't need to send cash! The gift card links with our registers, and we can search for your child by name. You can purchase a gift card for your child's teacher, too! If a book is unavailable, no worries. You can use that gift card in our online book fair! All this and more can be found at efairs.literati.com. (Don't forget to scroll for more info!)

Thank you to our community partner, Chicken N Pickle, for bringing the fun of pickleball to our Grapevine Elementary School students. During PE, Coach Basil and the guest coaches used pickleball to help students improve their hand-eye coordination and cardio. #WeAreGCISD

For the third consecutive year, Grapevine Elementary School united to read one book together over a four-week period, which concluded on February 2. This year’s One School One Book was “Wedgie & Gizmo,” a story about a guinea pig named Gizmo and a dog named Wedgie. 📚🐕 Check out what students and parents think of this school-wide reading initiative: https://www.gcisd.net/article/1444733
