It might be raining outside but it was snowing inside today at GES! Mrs. Couch's PreK class had a snowball fight in the hall because they couldn't go outside for recess. Snow much fun!!!

When you attend school in the Christmas Capital of Texas, you have to participate in the fun! Many thanks to the Araujo family for helping decorate our GES sign in beautiful garland. We also received a donation from Good Things for All Seasons of beautiful ornaments that are hanging in the office. Thank you to our community partners for bringing holiday cheer to our campus and students.

Where's the hippo?! Can our teachers find it by 3:00pm? Watch the comments to find out!! #GESShineOn

Teachers and staff kids helped "Deck the Halls" after school today. Thanks to many donations last year, we were able to put a tree in the learning commons, cafeteria, and foyer. We also wrapped the exterior poles in garland and put up blowup arches inside.

Our sweet Pre-Kers are having fun "popping" by our rooms for Thanksgiving! #GESShineUp

Our 3rd-5th grade students enjoyed a special presentation this morning. Dancers from Momentum Dance Company joined us to share the story of the Nutcracker and parts of their dances from their show. Our very own Ms. Jackson is the Sugar Plum Fairy!

Next week is Thanksgiving Break! Where will you be traveling? Tell us below in the comments! #GESShineOn

We need your help! Check your email for an important message about One School, One Book from Mrs. Hale. Thanks!
