Dear GES Families,

Welcome to kindergarten! I am thrilled and honored to be teaching your child this year. I know that you have sent me the most precious people in your lives, and I take that responsibility very seriously. It is very exciting to start this incredibly journey of learning together!
First, let me tell you a little bit about me. My experience in GCISD started as a student. I am a graduate of Heritage Middle School and Colleyville Heritage High School-- Go Panthers! I attended college at Texas A&M University and the University of North Texas as an undergraduate, and then I returned to UNT for graduate work in education. This is my eighth year at GES. Previously, I taught in Irving ISD. My husband, Alan, and I have been married for fourteen years and we have two beautiful children! We have an twelve year old daughter and a seven year old son who are the light of our lives! We also have three cats named Izzy, Rocky and Ginny. I am blessed by my wonderful family who provide me great support and joy!
We have wonderful educational opportunities planned for your child this year. As a parent, I know the hopes that you have for your little one in kindergarten. I am excited to see the growth that your child will make throughout the 2022-2023 school year. Grapevine Elementary is a family, and we succeed through hard work and support of one another. Please contact me with any questions or concerns. It's going to be a great year!
